The Capitol Hotel Downtown, An Ascend Collection Hotel - Nashville

Good place with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar. Staff helped me find my way on my first stay, and I appreciate Alyssa's kindness during one visit. I'm excited to return soon!

It was clean, I would definitely go back.

this hotel exceeded all expectations, we can't recommend highly enough to family. the location was brilliant, so close to the capitol property, downtown nashville, the bars & restaurants on the strip and many of the tourist attractions and the surrounding areas including the grand ole oprey.

The views were not so good.

No complains at all, overall it's excellent value and nicely appointed place with helpful staff at check-out.

I loved the hotel, it's ideal and the location is magnificent to broadway. Location: the property was short walk to library.

We had a blast enjoying the cool pancake-making machine and the refreshing indoor pool. The location made for easy strolls to nearby attractions, and the comfy beds provided a solid night's sleep after long days of exploring.

Valet parking too expensive. Cleanliness of the carpets (you could see the glitter from previous parties or had it on your feet)

The room was clean with the large comfortable bed, outside access and refrigerator, at least for me. The food was outstanding and the bar was nice. The hotel was great and in a central location. Top-notch restaurant around 10-15 minutes walk from the property. Everything was great and within 13 minutes' drive of Nashville International airport.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to Ryman Auditorium and a quick drive to Nissan Stadium. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use improvement. The eggs weren't great. We loved our experience here!

Great location - important points within walking distance. Very nice staff, valet parking without problems, rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast by American standards very good.

Only valet parking available for $21 including taxes. More like a motel than a hotel, as rooms are accessible from the outside. Very simple breakfast.

Friendly staff, clean rooms!

The Manager on duty on 11/5/12. He was running around helping all his staff to get their jobs done, he was emptying garbage cans, asking us if we wanted to rest in a room rather than in the lobby waiting for our flight...you can see his love and pride in his job.

I had gotten extra towels because there was 2 girls in the room and there was only 3 towels, we use an extra one for our hair...so once I got the extra ones, and left for the day, the room got cleaned and the towels were taken away...

Downtown within walking distance. It's a stone's throw to the Capitol! So Nashville with its countless country music venues was a top experience of our US-South States trip!
